Brief
ARC Structures were approached by the polycarbonate supplier to help with the installation of the polycarbonate sheets, replacing the existing glass panels. These had been broken by the local crows dropping stones on them, so for both safety and aesthetics, they needed updating! The client wanted a pattern underside of the panels for visual effect.
Outcome
The solid polycarbonate is far stronger and more long-lasting than glass, providing the client with a future proof solution. The patterned effect also helps to disguise potential dirt build up, maintaining a neat, modern look for the shop fronts, and providing a low-maintenance solution.
