Project Management

With hundreds of projects successfully delivered, we have a proven track record in project management excellence. Integrity, reliability and a thorough hands-on approach drive every aspect of our working practice. With over 20 years of experience delivering iconic large-scale tensile structures and smaller standard canopies, Arc’s project management team offer unrivalled knowledge and a wealth of expertise to ensure that your project runs smoothly, staying on programme and on budget from start to finish.

You will be assigned a dedicated project manager who will handle your project from initial design consultation through to manufacture and final installation. We pride ourselves on professionalism, consistency and open straightforward channels of communication, this means that your project manager will always be on hand to answer your questions and guide you through every stage of your project.

We offer a complete tensile design, manufacturing and engineering service with each structure finely tailored to your specific requirements or project brief. We place huge emphasis on the design stages of a project to ensure that all our structures meet our high standards.

From either initial consultation or tender stages, we will then embark on a thorough and rigorous design process, when finely detailed fabrication drawings and fabric types/patterns are then analysed alongside the precise engineering calculations. The scheme is then rigorously tested to ensure that we will deliver a visually stunning structure, with a design that exceeds your expectations.

The specialist bespoke structures industry is ever evolving, with materials being pushed farther to create exciting new opportunities for creativity in construction. We are dedicated to being at the forefront of these conversations in order to supply the best range of materials and fabrics to our clients.

Working closely with our industry partners across the world, we can offer manufacturing in tensile fabric for bespoke structures banners and interior sails as well as with ETFE, Polycarbonate and Honeycomb. for a wide range of uses.

The manufacturing of materials is approached with the same rigorous process as every other stage of our works programme. Every aspect of the manufacturing process is rigorously scrutinised and tested to ensure accuracy in patterning, cutting, joining and detailing. We have the experience that enables us to foresee complications, so we always go the extra mile to tackle a project holistically, to determine accuracy.

Some jobs may require part of, or a complete structure to be mocked up after manufacture and before install to circumnavigate costly and time-wasting delays on site.

We have teams of highly experienced site operatives skilled in installing in the most challenging of site conditions with safety always paramount. All our installation teams carry the latest CSCS and CPCS industry accredited qualifications as well IPAF, PASMA and IRATA qualifications in rope access and plant operation. You can be assured that all Arc site operatives can be trusted to safely install your structure.

All sites will be surveyed before installation, with site specific method statements carried out to minimise risk and ensure a safe and inclusive working environment.  We will assign an experienced SSSTS, SMSTS qualified Site Supervisor to take ensure our strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations on site are met. They will supervise cranes, mechanical equipment and rope access workers, as well as liaise with other contractors on site to ensure smooth delivery of your project, quickly reporting and resolving issues on site. Our on-site teams always go above and beyond to ensure installation is carried out to the highest standard, without delays to programme, and with site safety at the forefront.

We believe that regular inspections, cleaning and annual maintenance of your structure are vital to ensure its longevity. All our structures are engineered with high levels of precision and built to last, yet many are installed in exposed locations at the whim of the elements. We recommend an annual review to ensure best performance, to keep your structure robust against those elements as well as identify and resolve any issues as they arise.

On final delivery of your project, we will provide you with a comprehensive O&M manual detailing all that will be required to maintain the lifespan of your canopy. Maintenance packages can be bespoke and tailored to your requirements. A comprehensive service would include detailed structural inspection with reports provided, full cleaning of the fabric and structural supports, as well as repairs and and replacement of stressed fabric or fixings. Annual inspections are recommended, but you could also choose a more adhoc service if that is preferable. Taking out a maintenance package with ARC will give you ultimate peace of mind.
